All while attacking major societal issues and allowing for deeper conversations about one’s relationship with their body.

Director Nathan Hertz and I dive into how he became aligned with the Thinestra, his directorial debut, disorganized eating, societal standards, body positivity, body not-so positivity, enablement versus support, and some of the film’s hidden messaging.

Thinestra is a horrific, dark comedy that’s daring, eye-opening, and savagely entertaining.
