Take the Money and Run, an art piece by Jens Haaning, caused a global uproar, and director Ole Juncker got it all on camera.

In 2021, Jens Haaning created massive discourse when he decided to get funding from the Kunsten Museum for a piece called “Take the Money and Run”, and then he took the money…and ran.

Eager to tell Jens’s story, director Ole Juncker picked up his camera and documented the aftermath of the situation.

In this video, Juncker discusses his motivation for capturing and telling his story in the way that he did in his latest documentary, Take the Money and Run, which had its International premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival.
