The spiritual girlies love to live by the universal laws, flow, and whatever else they preach about daily. After exploring so much content on spirituality, they might be on to something. It’s common to get anxious, ruminate, feel stressed, and have negative moments in the day, but what would happen if you let your mind assume the best rather than the worst?
What is the law of assumption?
The law of assumption is believing the thing you want is already in your existence so that you can manifest it into your reality.
Sure, it sounds a little woo-woo.
But what would life look like if you took steps toward a goal, allowed yourself to feel the feelings before you have it, and continued your day without harping on the results?
Taking action and having a positive outlook is well within your control.
Even if you miss when you shoot for the moon, you’ll still land among the stars.
Week 1:
At the start of anything, you become particularly aware of your patterns.
Did you ask your partner to pick up toilet paper, which they usually forget?
Did you send another email asking your boss if they could approve your time off so you could buy your plane ticket?
This is the week to note how these situations would make you feel, then take action toward your desired outcome.
Maybe you pick up the toilet paper during your downtime to avoid friction with your forgetful partner.
Instead of emailing your boss, block off 15 minutes on their calendar to verbally discuss your upcoming trip.
Hopefully, by the end of the week, you will have strategized new ways to get your desired results.
In the wise words of Albert Einstein, doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results is the definition of insanity.
Week 2:
The changes in week 2 are subtle, but they’re present. A pro tip for mastering the law of assumption is expressing gratitude. With the law of assumption, the goal is to feel gratitude for what you desire. Are you actively feeling gratitude for the things that you already have?
According to the Law of Gratitude, when we approach life with the mindset of the glass half full, we naturally become more aware of the opportunities and abundance that already surround us. Feeling and expressing gratitude raises your vibrations and has been scientifically proven to increase happiness, lower blood pressure, and improve productivity. As your body gets used to the feeling of action and positivity, you will innately seek out situations that create more of these feelings.
Where your focus goes, your energy flows.
Week 3:
This is where the air feels cleaner, and the grass gets greener. You can’t put your finger on it, but the weight of life is becoming more light. You’ve probably noticed small desires come to fruition.
Maybe you were on the way to work and thought, “I would love a bagel right about now,” once you arrived, there were bagels for the entire office.
Or you’ve been craving sushi but haven’t gotten any yet. You habitually check your email and have a coupon for a “buy one get one free” roll.
Without realizing it, you may have tasted the fluffiness of the bagel before even eating it or smelled the ginger at the sushi restaurant without being there.
You will notice life flowing in your favor just because you’re in the vibrational frequency to receive. Daintily, you’re defining your desires, feeling what it’s like to have that thing, and the universe (or God—whichever you believe) is orchestrating you’re manifestation into your reality.
Perhaps you could use your new skills to acquire grander manifestations for week four.
Week 4:
By now, the changes in your mood and attitude will be noticeable. You’ll notice positive unconscious thoughts more frequently. You may even begin to feel lucky.
At this point, you’ve been emphasizing the “feel good” feelings, taking more action, and releasing authority over the things out of your control for over three weeks.
Imagine you’re traveling and finally get to drop your 30-pound luggage off at your hotel. That’s 30 pounds less you have to tote around on your new adventure. Your new mindset is just that.
According to Abraham Hicks, you become vibrationally aligned with your desires when you allow yourself to “feel the feeling” of having that thing for just 17 seconds.
You are wholly changing your brain chemistry, and this is where lasting change comes into play.
The society that we live in only recognizes logic, but our world is much more multi-dimensional than that. When you feel good emotionally and mentally, that is a direct reflection of how you feel physically and show up in the world. You possess much more power than you think.
So, tap in—you’re in charge now.
I truly believe gives us free rain to think of positive and joyful things in our life. I admit some time my first thought is negative. Based off God’s word he allows us to make our on decisions. This article is about the power within yourself and how your thoughts will change your life. Awesome way to start my week. Thank you
Do this mean giving up God for 4 weeks if so I will not do that because God gives us freedom to live our life.
