Tis the Season for Film in New York City
Brooklyn Film Festival & Tribeca Film Festival festivities are happening NOW!
Brooklyn Film Festival
It’s the first week of June in the city. The weather is finally warming up, and what better way to celebrate the true start of spring than with art in film form?
Until June 8, check out narrative feature films and narrative, animated, and experimental short films premiering at the Brooklyn Film Festival. This year’s lineup has touched every film genre and tells innovative stories that the world has yet to see.
If you’ve never been to a film festival, the schedule is easy to follow.
There is a feature film (80-120 minutes) followed by a block of short films or animated short films. During the weekend, this cycle is repeated, or the order is mixed.
After each block, the cast and crew come on stage to answer questions from the event’s host and a few audience questions.
